HERE TO SERVE, WITH LOVE.

We are building a future that nurtures young people's wellbeing.
WILCAH exists to promote wellbeing among young people in Tanzania through evidence-based, community-driven interventions.
Young people face increasing pressures that affect their wellbeing, learning, and livelihoods. Without early support and the right environments, these challenges often escalate. Prevention, early support and strong ecosystems can change this.
Community ownership and meaningful youth engagement are the foundation of our work. We strengthen mental health systems by combining:
- Evidence-informed strategies grounded in lived experience
- Youth leadership and community ownership embedded across all interventions
- Multi-level partnerships that align community action with institutional and policy change to build mental health ecosystems that are accessible, relevant, and sustainable.
